I bought this seat for 2 reasons, 1), which lasted 18 months until my 100 pounds, and 2) is the only car seat Consumer Reports may recommend that a car seat for use with safety belts hits.
I had to wash - and was broke so easily. There were no assumptions about how they build. The straps are not twisted after washing!
I am so happy with it, I will make a buy for my 4 years (38 lbs) so that you can use. It is safer than it was bought last year. The lock works well in my Grand Caravan 2002nd I always tip the seats for people in the back seat.
Bottom line - my kids are as safe as he can. That's all that matters when you are looking for a car and a seat!
We bought a new 4-year old son about a year ago, based on experiance with no back-up that we buy for our daughter. It is very good and is safe, I'll tell you really do not notice the differance between a good and that his grandmother had bought for his car during his visit. (Sorry, I forgot the brand). Anyway, he gets the job done well and what keeps you safe, I tell my aggreivation only, as the strap over the shoulder tends to lock the seat belt and get twisted. It may be our car, but I noticed on both cars not just one.
